I've been suffering from this since childhood and my doctor has never come up with a name for it or what may be causing it, so there has been nothing I can do about it other then using steroid creams. In the mean time growing up I have developed a complex with my smile and also have horrible scars. This complex has has made me act in various unsociable manners such as during the weekend I went round to a house party and woke up the next day lay next to a beautifull girl and found that the corners of my lips where extremely scabbed over, so before she woke up I got dressed and left, texting her to tell her I had to go cos I was late for something important, but what I was really worried about was her seeing the state of my scabby face in day light, I hate the way this affects my life, so much I could cry, it seems worse the morning after i've had a drink which is something I really don't understand.

What can I do about the scars and how can I cure it, i'd even contemplate plastic surgery to get rid of the scars and why does alcohol affect it.
